Thursday, 9/6/12 HW

Happy New Year 7th Graders!!

This is just a reminder to students and parents that the 7th grade Math homework and other announcements will be posted on this website. Each homework posted here is due the next day unless another due date is written.

Homework assigned Thursday Sept 6, 2012:

All periods:
1) Find one online article or newspaper clipping that shows Math in an interesting way. I prefer for it to be e-mailed to me at marianne.desario@icsd.k12.ny.us.

2) Make sure your child has the following supplies: 1 notebook devoted to Math only, 1 pencil, and 1 Math folder with them in class every day. We will also be using scientific calculators in class this year for multi-step equations, word problems, and more. Although student-owned calculators are NOT strictly required, I recommend buying a TI-30XIIS scientific calculator for this school year for use during homework (Due Thursday 9/13).
